If you answer yes, then you’ve come to the right place.

Outreach International Writers, inc. OIWI is open to hearing from you.

We are on the lookout for fresh voices and new workshop ideas. We are searching for writers willing to share their expertise with other like-minded people with passion for the written word. Topics can range from craft to business and anything in between.

What you will need before querying the Director of Educational & Campus Services with an idea.

  1. A lesson plan and outline. Include how many lessons per week and in total.
  2. Establish defined goals and length for the workshop. For example, this four-week workshop will focus on understanding GMC (Goal, Motivation and Conflict), and how to incorporate it into your story. Or try something like, this two-week intensive will help overcome writer’s block with fun and stimulating assignments.
  3. Written lessons with audio and/or visual resources to highlight the main ideas or other important bits of information.
  4. A usable course description and bio for the website and social media.
  5. Assignments for the students to complete for each lesson.
  6. Include the lesson and/or additional resources for the students to download and keep using even after the workshop ends.
  7. Remember to answer any student questions about your topic and give feedback for their assignments. That is the reason they signed- up after all.
  8. Enjoy the process and have fun!!
