Workshop Description:
We often assume the Highland clans of Scotland have always been. In reality, they evolved. This workshop explores the clan origins in general, clan structure, Gaelic names, Highland life, women, the Lords of the Isles, clan histories, clothing, feuds, and the Clearances. She enhances the workshop with handouts and activities to assist participants in melding realism and fiction in their stories. At the end of the workshop, Cindy offers to provide a free chapter edit.
